How to deal with "Java heap space Unexpected exception” error.
This error is caused by the limited maximal amount of memory that is allocated to the JVM.
This can be solved by increasing the value of the Xmx value in the JVMOptions section of the \Xill IDE\app\Xill IDE.cfg file.
- Navigate to the Xill IDE.exe folder
- Go to the app folder
- Open/edit Xill IDE.cfg
- In the file locate the [JVMOptions] section
- Change the -Xmx1g parameter by increasing the allocated number, for example to -Xmx2g to double the maximum allocated memory.
The value of -Xmx1g should be set to a value that is supported by your system's available memory.
